Full assessment & Treatment options £50
At your first appointment with Torbay Footcare, a podiatry team member will assess your general foot health. Your symptoms and treatment options will be discussed, and a treatment plan will be established. In most cases, treatment can be started or continued on the same day.

We now take full payment for new patient appointments at the time of booking rather than a £25 deposit. This is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled in accordance with the clinic's cancellation policy.

Fungal Nail Analysis - Does NOT include treatment £40
For the detection of fungal nail infection. During this appointment, a nail sample will be collected and tested for infection. This appointment DOES NOT include any additional treatment. Results are provided within 5 minutes.

Lunula Laser (Feet) 1st Appointment £65
This appointment is for existing patients only. Includes: Assessment, photographs and debridement of nails. The treatment plan consists of 4 weekly sessions, followed by 4 monthly sessions, and advice on preventing reinfection. A 12-month review is conducted to assess progress.

Lunula Laser (Feet and Hands) 1st appointment £90
This appointment is for existing patients only. Includes: Assessment, photographs and debridement of nails. The treatment plan consists of 4 weekly sessions, followed by 4 monthly sessions, and advice on preventing reinfection. A 12-month review is conducted to assess progress.

This appointment is for existing patients only. Lunula laser treatment with debridement of nails at Lunula 5 and 7.

1st Swift Microwave £90
This is an appointment for existing Torbay Footcare patients wishing to have Swift Microwave treatment for their verrucae or warts. Swift is a new technology developed in the UK, which has been licenced for the general treatment of skin lesions in Podiatry and Dermatology. Swift uses microwave energy delivered through a special probe applied to the skin to treat the affected tissue. Course of 3 treatments at monthly intervals and a follow-up 3 months later.

Cryotherapy £65
A treatment that freezes the verruca lesion.

Verruca Needling with local anaesthetic block £400
Treatment of one or more verrucae using Falknor's Needling Technique under tibial block to anaesthetise the whole of the sole of the foot, or local infiltration of lesion(s).

Verruca Treatment with Acid £65
Salicylic acid and Silver Nitrate can be offered during this appointment. The verruca will be treated, and a dressing will be applied. You will be given aftercare advice.

Verrutop Appointment £65
The treatment plan consists of 6 x weekly applications of Verrutop by your podiatrist. A review appointment is then made 4 weeks following your last treatment to check progress. Additional applications may be required depending on the overall response to the treatment.

Biomechanical Assessment £150
A 60-minute appointment for new or existing patients of Torbay Footcare, where we will look at your foot structure, alignment, range of motion and functional strength of muscle groups in the lower limb. We may make recommendations regarding your footwear and exercises, stretches, mobilisations, and/or orthoses. We can scan your feet using our 3D scanner to have bespoke orthoses.

Shockwave Therapy £50
This is for existing patients who have been provided with a treatment pathway by their podiatrist. For the treatment of soft-tissue stress injuries, such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and other lower-limb conditions.

K-Laser Therapy £50
This is for existing patients who have been provided with a treatment pathway by their podiatrist. This therapy has multiple uses within podiatry, including soft tissue stress injuries.

Orthotic Therapy - Depending on prescription £50 - £400
Orthotic therapy can be used in conjunction with rehab to help with balance and stability issues, manage foot pathology, allow healing, accommodate a rigid, misshapen foot, or improve foot function, thereby reducing compensatory gait and associated pain.

Bespoke soft tissue rehabilitation £49
During your assessment, your clinician will have examined you and performed multiple assessments to identify the cause(s) of your soft tissue injury and any underlying factors that are preventing your body from healing itself within anticipated time lines. Your clinician will provide you with a bespoke rehabilitation program to help improve functional strength and any range of motion deficits recorded during your assessment.

This is for existing patients only who have been assessed by the Podiatrist and placed on this treatment pathway.

Routine Appointment £49
This is for existing patients only who have been assessed by the Podiatrist and placed on this treatment pathway.

Simple Nails Appointment £30
This is for existing patients only who have been assessed by the Podiatrist and placed on this treatment pathway.

Nail surgery £450
For the treatment of ingrown, painful, or fungal-infected nails. Includes dressings and a waterproof boot, provided at the 24hr check-up. You may also be offered free laser treatment, if needed, to speed up healing.

You will be required to attend for a post-op check-up at 2 and 6 weeks (appointments chargeable at £35 each).

Skin Lesion Removal - Initial Assessment and First Treatment £65
(up to 3 small lesions) Cryosthetics Cryo-IQ PRO: This treatment removes skin lesions such as Skin tags, cherry angiomas, Milia, and Moles. The appointment will include an assessment and first treatment of a skin lesion. Depending on skin type, you may require multiple treatments. Your clinician will advise you accordingly.

Skin Lesion Removal Service - Follow-up appointment £65
(includes follow-up cryotherapy if needed) Book this appointment for a follow-up or additional treatment to remove a skin lesion.
The appointment includes otoscopy to assess the health of the outer ear, ear canal, and eardrum. If there is excessive earwax, this will be removed using microsuction. You will then be offered a hearing check. Depending on the results of the appointment, you will be offered the relevant treatment pathway. Patients are always advised to use an ear wax softener daily for 1 week prior to an appointment to soften wax.
