How Do I Book an Appointment?

To book an appointment at Torbay Footcare, you have a few simple options:

The quickest way is to phone the clinic directly on 01803 521880. The reception team can help you choose the right appointment and answer any questions.

You can also book through the website by selecting your treatment and choosing a suitable time slot.

 If you prefer, you can:

  • Visit the clinic in Paignton
  • Send a message through the contact page

We are based at 9 Dendy Road, Paignton.

Appointments are typically available:

  • Monday–Friday 08:00 – 19:00
  • Saturday mornings 10:00 – 14:00

We also offer home visits in the Torbay area (e.g. Paignton, Torquay, Brixham), which you can arrange when booking. Home visit appointments are reserved only for patients with mobility issues who are unable to attend the clinic.

Do you offer same-day or urgent appointments?

Yes, we always try to offer same-day appointments for patients experiencing severe pain. However, availability can vary, so this cannot be guaranteed.

At your first appointment, you can expect a friendly and professional experience focused on your individual needs. As a new patient, you will be assessed by Jo or Tom, who will ensure you feel comfortable and well looked after from the start.

Your clinician will begin with a thorough consultation, discussing your medical history, any current concerns, and your general foot health. This ensures your treatment is safe, appropriate, and tailored specifically to you.

A full assessment of your feet will then be carried out, allowing the practitioner to identify any issues and clearly explain their findings. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss treatment options, so you feel fully informed and confident in your care.

Where appropriate, treatment is usually carried out during the same appointment. This may include routine foot care, addressing specific problem areas, or advice on managing your condition at home.

All patients are provided with a personalised treatment pathway designed to achieve optimal results and support long-term foot health. We aim to educate and empower you to care for your feet, helping you proactively prevent avoidable conditions and keep you active for longer.

More specialised treatments, such as K-Laser, shockwave therapy, Lunula laser, or Swift microwave therapy, cannot always be carried out during your initial assessment. These treatments are not single-session solutions and typically require a structured course of care, which will be discussed and planned with you during your visit.

You will also receive practical guidance on maintaining healthy feet, including footwear advice and preventative care.

Yes, we accept most insurance policies. However, we recommend that you contact your provider before attending your appointment at Torbay Footcare to familiarise yourself with their claims process and ensure your treatment is covered.
